About Me

Hi! I’m Thu Hien - a native teacher who was born and raised in Northern Vietnam. So I speak Northern Accent. I have a deep understanding of the Northern accent, culture, and customs. But having lived in Ho Chi Minh City for years now, if you’re also interested in learning the Southern accent or exploring the local lifestyle here, I’m more than happy to share that with you too!

With a background in education and community projects, I enjoy working with both adults and young learners. As a language learner myself, I truly understand the exact hurdles you face when learning Vietnamese. I’m here to guide you step-by-step, build your confidence, and make your learning journey smooth, structured, and enjoyable.

Teaching Style

I like to keep my classes fun, energetic, and completely stress-free! Instead of memorizing dry grammar rules, we’ll learn through vivid visuals, fun custom games, and practical role-plays. You’ll practice speaking and pronunciation right from day one, so you can naturally order food, ask for directions, and chat with locals on your very first week!
