Another amazing lesson with Mr. Hữu Thịnh. Very encouraging, cheers me on with tons of positive feedback while at the same time helping push me to improve my learning. My progress has improved a lot in a short time. With all of the encouragement it makes me look forward to learning more and continuing the path to improving my speaking and understanding of Vietnamese. I look forward to when I will be able to surprise my extended Vietnamese family and be able to communicate with them. Cảm ơn em. :-)

It is a pleasure to learn Vietnamese from Mr. Pham. He is very patient, methodical and encouraging. I am a very tone-deaf individual, but with Mr. Pham's logical way of learning Vietnamese, I was experiencing "ah-ha!" moments. Attaining those moments makes learning a different language very enjoyable.
I will be looking forward to the next lesson

I have been a bit lazy with my revision and struggled recalling words from past lessons. I appreciate that Thầy Thịnh was patient and encouraging in helping me recall the words. I also appreciate the inclusion of words and grammar structures from past lessons into the new lessons. One of the most challenging aspects of learning a new language for me, is to understand native speakers and be able to respond in a timely manner to keep the conversation going. Revision and practice are key to helping me do that.

I have just completed 2 months of learning with my teacher Huu Thinh and I could not recommend him (and SVFF) enough!
He is a very friendly, patient, and dedicated teacher who is genuinely invested in his student's progress. He has continued to motivate and challenge me throughout my learning journey, and his active and flexible teaching style helps all lessons with him feel very natural and enjoyable! I could not imagine continuing to study Vietnamese without his mentorship!

Today felt like a milestone for me. This was my 75th lesson, and I've been learning with Thinh for the past 10 months. When I started, I didn't speak any Vietnamese. Thanks to his patience and encouragement, I can now have conversations and even used what I learned during my trip to Vietnam. I still have a long way to go, but the road ahead looks promising. Thank you, Thinh, for always believing in me and helping me keep moving forward.

I enjoyed learning a lot of new vocabulary regarding the phone and its many uses. Thầy Thịnh was able to explain the subject matter clearly and in a way that helps me remember. I look forward to practicing the new vocabulary and grammar structures.

I enjoyed learning more about how to talk about health. The vocabulary is extensive and will be very useful. I appreciate the encouragement and challenges that test my understanding. I also like the feedback. It helps me to improve.

We've had 8 lessons with Thinh in a sibling group. He's personable which I really appreciate. I enjoy learning about Vietnam and its culture, which is beyond the lesson. A summary of what we learned today is always done at the end whjxh is freat to reinforce the learning
