About Me

My name is Liên. I was born in Đà Lạt, a lovely city in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Later I studied and worked for many years in Ho Chi Minh City. Because of this, I speak with a clear Southern Vietnamese accent.

I’m passionate about teaching Vietnamese and sharing Vietnamese culture, lifestyle, and everyday expressions with learners from around the world.

Me as a Teacher

Before becoming a Vietnamese teacher, I spent over five years teaching communicative English to Vietnamese adults. I also hold a TESOL certificate, which has given me a strong foundation in language teaching methodology.

For the past three years, I have been teaching Vietnamese to students from different backgrounds. My teaching approach focuses on creating a friendly, supportive and engaging environment where students can feel comfortable speaking and expressing themselves. I understand every learner has their own learning pace, therefore, my lessons are tailored to better suit each student’s abilities.

Teaching Style

In my classes, I use a variety of activities such as songs, videos, conversations, and real-life situations to make lessons more enjoyable and practical. I also introducing Vietnamese culture and everyday life through readings and discussions, so students can learn the language in a more natural and meaningful way.
