Welcome to SVFF — Your First Steps

What is SVFF?

SVFF is an online platform for learning Southern Vietnamese. Whether you are a complete beginner or already know some Vietnamese, SVFF gives you the tools to improve your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

You can learn at your own pace with self-study courses, practice conversation with our AI tutor, or book private lessons with experienced Vietnamese teachers. Everything is in one place at svff.online.

How to Log In

1. Go to svff.online in your web browser.
2. Click "Log In" in the top right corner.
3. Enter your email address and password.
4. Click the "Log In" button.

If you do not have an account yet, click "Sign Up" and follow the instructions. You will need an email address to create your account.

Forgot your password? Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and check your email for a reset link.

Your Dashboard

After you log in, you will see your Dashboard at /dashboard. This is your home page. Here you can see:

• Your current courses — the lessons you are working on right now
• Your progress — how far you have come in each course
• Upcoming lessons — any private lessons you have booked with a teacher
• Quick links — fast access to all parts of the platform

You can always return to your Dashboard by clicking the SVFF logo or the "Dashboard" link in the menu.

Three Ways to Learn

SVFF offers three main learning paths. You can use one, two, or all three together.

1. Private Lessons with Teachers

Learn one-on-one with a Vietnamese teacher through video calls. This is the best way to improve your speaking and pronunciation.

• Go to /teachers to see all available teachers and their profiles.
• Go to /booking to choose a time that works for you.
• Pick your teacher, select a date and time, and confirm your booking.
• You will receive a confirmation email with the meeting link.

2. Self-Study Courses and Textbooks

Work through structured courses at your own speed. Each course has multiple lessons with vocabulary, grammar explanations, dialogues, and practice exercises.

• Go to /courses to browse all available courses.
• Click on a course to see its lessons.
• Start from Lesson 1 and work your way through.
• Your progress is saved automatically — you can stop and come back anytime.

3. AI Tutor Practice

Practice your Vietnamese anytime with our AI-powered tutor. It can help you with conversation practice, vocabulary review, grammar questions, and pronunciation tips.

• Go to /ai-tutor to start a conversation.
• Type your question or message in English or Vietnamese.
• The AI tutor will respond and help you practice.
• The AI Tutor is available 24 hours a day. You will need AI credits to use it — credits can be purchased through the platform.

Tips for New Students

• Start with a course. If you are a beginner, go to /courses and choose a beginner course first. This will give you a strong foundation.
• Practice every day. Even 15 minutes a day makes a big difference. Use the AI tutor for quick daily practice.
• Book a teacher early. A real teacher can correct mistakes that are hard to catch on your own. Even one lesson per week helps a lot.
• Do not be afraid to make mistakes. Making mistakes is a normal part of learning. Your teachers and the AI tutor are here to help you improve.
