The SVFF Community Guidelines

We want people to use the SVFF community to connect with Vietnamese language learners from all over the world and help each other reach their Vietnamese language learning goals, but not at the expense of other people's safety and well-being or our community's integrity. As a result, you agree not to engage in the following conduct (or to facilitate or support others in doing so):
Threats and Violence
SVFF's top priority is safety. When we believe there is a genuine risk of physical harm or a direct threat to public safety, we remove content. You may not make credible threats to others or organize acts of physical violence. We do not permit you to promote, plan, or celebrate any of your actions if they have resulted in, or could result in, financial harm to others, including theft and vandalism.
Self-Harm
Threats of self-harm are taken very seriously by SVFF. We will not promote or encourage self-mutilation, eating disorders, or drug abuse. We also collaborate with suicide prevention organizations all over the world to help people in need.
Harassment, Bullying, or Stalking:
Harassment, bullying, or stalking are not tolerated by the SVFF. We allow users to freely express themselves on public issues and people, but we take action on all reports of abusive behavior directed at private individuals. It is a form of harassment to repeatedly target other users with unwanted friend requests or messages.
Offensive Language and Hate Speech
Do not post any content, send any messages, or otherwise engage in any actions on the SVFF Platform that target others based on what we refer to as protected characteristics — race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, and serious disease or disability.
Sexually Obscene Content:
The SVFF has a strict policy prohibiting the sharing of pornographic content and any explicitly sexual content involving minors. We also place restrictions on the display of nudity.

Discussions about politics or religion

Do not start or participate in discussions about political or religious events or groups, or post images about them. Politics and religion are sensitive subjects that frequently result in polarizing and hateful comments. It is our position that such discussions should not take place on a site dedicated to Vietnamese language learning.

Privacy and Identity
We ask that you refrain from publishing other people's personal information without their permission. When deciding on a communication method, consider the wishes and preferences of others. Before recording another person, obtain written permission from them.

Do not pretend to be someone else or try to mislead others about your identity by copying another Member's avatar, using a username that is confusingly similar to another Member, or otherwise posing as someone else. Do not create a phony presence for a company.

We also ask that you refrain from publishing any personally identifiable information, such as your phone number, email address, video chat, and instant message IDs, physical addresses, credit card numbers, passwords, and/or any other similar information. It is our responsibility to safeguard our users' accounts against unauthorized access, online identity theft, and phishing scams. Only private direct communication should be used to share private information.

Intellectual Property (I.P.)
Please make sure you have the right to share content on SVFF before doing so. Copyright, trademarks, and other legal rights must be respected.
Spam and phishing
We take our members' safety seriously and work hard to prevent attempts to compromise their privacy or security. Send the same message to multiple Members or post the same message in the post, exercise, question, or other sections of the SVFF Platform multiple times.
We also ask that you show our members respect by not contacting them for commercial purposes without their permission. Furthermore, do not make posts or comments solely for commercial purposes, as this detracts from, and adds nothing of value to, the Vietnamese language-learning community.
