Make Your SVFF Account Yours

Setting up your profile helps your teachers know who you are and ensures you get the best learning experience. Here's everything you can customise.

Editing Your Profile

1. Go to svff.online/profile/edit (or click "Edit Profile" from your profile page)
2. Fill in the following fields:

• Full name — how your teachers and classmates will see you
• Short intro — a brief one-liner about yourself
• Introduction — a longer description (why you're learning Vietnamese, your goals, etc.)
• Native language — helps teachers tailor explanations
• Country from / Living in — useful context for your teacher
• Gender — optional

Click "Save Changes" when you're done.

Uploading Your Photo

On the edit profile page, you'll see an avatar upload zone at the top:

1. Click the upload area or drag and drop your photo
2. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF (max 10 MB)
3. Click "Upload Photo" to save

Your photo appears on your profile, in messages, and next to your comments. Having a photo helps build a personal connection with your teachers.

Settings Hub

Visit svff.online/settings to access all your account settings in one place:

Security

At Settings → Security:

• Change your password (minimum 8 characters)
• View your login history

Notifications

At Settings → Notifications, you can toggle:

• Lesson reminders — before your scheduled lessons
• Booking confirmations — when a lesson is booked or cancelled
• New messages — when a teacher sends you a message
• Community replies — when someone replies to your posts
• Promotions & offers — special deals and new courses
• Weekly progress report — a summary of your learning each week

Language & Timezone

At Settings → Language:

• Language — choose English or Tiếng Việt for the interface
• Timezone — set your local timezone so lesson times display correctly

Important: Setting the correct timezone ensures your lesson bookings and reminders match your local time.

Delete Account

At Settings → Delete Account, you can permanently delete your account. There is a 30-day recovery period in case you change your mind.

Viewing Your Payment History

Go to svff.online/profile/orders to see all your past payments and tuition purchases.
