How to Use Flashcards & Quizzes

Flashcards and quizzes are your best friends for building vocabulary. Use them between lessons to keep new words fresh in your memory.

Getting Started with Flashcards

  1. Log in to your SVFF Online account.
  2. Click Flashcards in the navigation menu (or go to /flashcards).
  3. Select the unit or topic you want to study.
  4. Your flashcard deck will load with vocabulary from that unit.

How Flashcards Work

  • Each card shows a word on the front (Vietnamese or English).
  • Click or tap the card to flip it and see the translation.
  • Mark each card as Got it (you know it) or Review again (you need more practice).
  • Cards you mark for review will appear more often until you master them.

✅ Result: Over time, your "Mastered" count grows and your "Needs Review" count shrinks. That is real progress!

Tracking Your Flashcard Progress

Status What It Means
Mastered You answered correctly multiple times in a row
Needs Review You got it wrong or have not practiced it recently
New You have not studied this card yet

Taking Quizzes

  1. After studying a unit's flashcards, look for the Quiz button.
  2. Quizzes include multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and matching questions.
  3. Answer all questions and click Submit.
  4. Review your score and see which answers were correct or incorrect.

💡 Tip: Do not rush through quizzes. Read each question carefully. The goal is to learn, not just to finish.

Best Practices

💡 Tip: Study flashcards for just 10 minutes a day. Short, frequent sessions work better than one long session.

💡 Tip: Review flashcards before your lesson to warm up, and after your lesson to reinforce what you learned.

⚠️ Important: Quizzes may count toward your unit completion. Check with your teacher if you are unsure.

Keep flipping those cards — your vocabulary will grow faster than you think!
