Cancellation & Rescheduling — Complete Policy

What to Do If You Can't Make a Lesson

Life happens — and SVFF makes it easy to reschedule or cancel a lesson when needed. Here's everything you need to know about our cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Rescheduling a Lesson

If you need to change the time of a booked lesson:

When You RescheduleWhat Happens
More than 24 hours before the lessonYou can reschedule to a different time at no extra cost
Less than 24 hours before the lessonThe lesson cannot be rescheduled and credits are not returned

How to Reschedule

  1. Check your email — when you book a lesson, you receive a reschedule link (works without logging in)
  2. Or go to Manage Bookings and click "Reschedule" next to the lesson
  3. Pick a new date from the calendar
  4. Select an available time slot
  5. Click "Confirm Reschedule"

All times shown are automatically adjusted to your timezone.

Cancelling a Lesson

All lesson purchases are non-refundable. Cancelling a lesson means you lose the credits spent. We strongly recommend rescheduling instead of cancelling whenever possible.

How to Cancel

  1. Check your email for the cancellation link (works without logging in)
  2. Or go to Manage Bookings and click "Cancel"
  3. You'll see a confirmation page showing the lesson details (teacher, date, time)
  4. Click "Yes, Cancel This Booking" to confirm

Note: This action cannot be undone.

What Happens If Your Teacher Cancels?

If a teacher cancels a lesson, your credits will be returned to your account automatically. You can use those credits to book a new lesson with the same teacher or a different one.

Group Class Cancellations

Group classes require a minimum of 3 students. If fewer than 3 students book, the class will be cancelled and your credits will be returned to your account. You can then use those credits for any other SVFF service.

Tips to Avoid Cancellations

  • Book lessons when you're confident about the time — check your schedule before booking
  • Set lesson reminders — enable notifications in your settings
  • Reschedule early — if something comes up, reschedule as soon as possible (at least 24 hours before)
  • Communicate with your teacher — send a message to let them know if plans change
