Hi, my name is Isaac Walton. Here is my self-introduction:
Reasons learning : I've been to Vietnam a few times, but haven't been able to speak any Vietnamese, so I was entirely reliant on others doing things for me. Next time I go, I'd like to be able to know enough to do things by myself, and have some basic conversations in Vietnamese.
My timezone: NZST
Short Introduction: My current goal is get a handle on pronunciation and to speak Vietnamese well enough to have a basic conversation. As for my interests, I enjoy reading, badminton, games, listening to new music, traveling (I've spent at least 2-3 months traveling both Japan and Vietnam), and learning Japanese (for several years now) and Vietnamese (which I only started in the last few weeks). I've also started really enjoying some Vietnamese music from artists like Bích Phương and Đen. Lastly, I'm also a volunteer English tutor for migrants and refugees in New Zealand, and I've been doing that about once a week for the last couple of years.
Questions for SVFF: No questions at the moment, but I did want to say a huge thank you for putting together so many videos on your YouTube channel. It has been invaluable for me as a learning resource. Particularly, the "100 MOST COMMON VIETNAMESE WORDS" series was a lot of fun and I've watched the whole thing many times over.
