What it means
Two prohibition frames placed on a single spectrum of social weight. S + không nên + V is the gentle, advisory end ('shouldn't' — friendly counsel between equals), while S1 + cấm + S2 + V is the strong, authoritative end ('forbid' — a parent telling a child, a rule on a sign, an institution stating policy). Between them sits S + không được + V ('not allowed' — a firm rule without the parental sting of cấm). The whole point of presenting these together is to show that prohibition in Vietnamese isn't a single word — it's a ladder, and choosing the wrong rung makes a sentence either limp or aggressive. Drilling these in pairs early teaches social calibration that pays off for years.
Thể hiện sự không phép. Mức độ “ngăn cản" tăng dần từ " không nên" đến "cấm"
