"After level one, you are ready to start level two. At this level, even this is still for beginners, however, what you learn will be a bit more complicated. After this Vietnamese for beginner level A2, you can create longer sentences, handle some conversations when talking about some topics that you are familiar with.
Similar to level one, teachers at this level still play a very important role, since their main jobs are to correct your mistakes in pronunciation, grammar, they will also help you to introduce some key phrases that are practical, communicative instead of too formal. Additionally, in the Northern Dialects, specific keywords and phrases are taught to enhance your understanding and communication in that particular dialect."

- Need to spend time practicing outside the class
Goals
- Understand and use sentences and frequently used expressions in Northern dialects and Hanoi dialects
- Be able to describe in simple terms aspects of my background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need using Northern dialects and Hanoi dialects
- Be able to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters using Northern dialects and Hanoi dialects.

I didn’t know that SVFF Unlimited ∞ also gave access to the Northern Dialect, even though I don’t use it as much. I think the Northern Dialect textbook needs more updates. It doesn't have as many activities and interactive content as the Southern Dialect, but I believe this will be improved soon. Right now, I don’t use it often, but it’s useful for comparing the Northern and Southern Dialects.
